This work focuses on results of experimental research dealing with influence of polyacrylamide and carboxymethylcellulose concentrations and solvent type (acetal mixture and fresh water in proportion 60/40) on rheological characteristics of polymeric drilling fluids.
Rheological characteristics of polymeric compositions of drilling fluids were studied on rotation viscosemetre FANN. Research was carried out in range of velocities shift 5, 1-1021 c-1 and temperature 21 °C.
It has been defined rheological characteristics of polymeric drilling fluids on the base of polyacrylamide and carboxymethylcellulose made on fresh water mostly depend upon the concentration of polyacrylamide in fluid than on concentration of carboxymethylcellulose. During preparation of drilling fluids on the base of polyacrylamide rheological characteristics of carboxymethylcellulose together with acetal and fresh water mostly depend upon carboxymethylcellulose concentration.
